The Battery Atlanta Falls into Fun with Festive Happenings this Month

Atlanta’s favorite open-air destination offers events to usher in the changing seasons

The Battery Atlanta has spirited festivities for friends and families this October. Guests can anticipate a jam-packed lineup of live performances at the Coca-Cola Roxy and other seasonally themed events like A Stranger Halloween at Live! at The Battery Atlanta, Game Day watch parties and more. The Battery Atlanta is the place to be to experience all the fantastic fall activities!

Outdoor Activities:

Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente
Mondays, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the Plaza Green
Calm the mind, body and spirit at the outdoor yoga classes presented by Kaiser Permanente. The Wellness Series at The Battery Atlanta continues this free event into the fall, open to all ages to feel refreshed as the seasons' change. Guests are required to bring their own mat and can register here.

Xfinity Movie Series
Fridays, on the Plaza Green
Grab a snack and cozy up for movie night with family and friends on the Plaza Green every weekend this season. Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating for the free movie showings, presented by Xfinity. More information can be found here.

Hoots n’ Howls
Sunday, Oct. 30 from 1-5 p.m.
Need an excuse to dress up your pet? Rock for Rescues is bringing the Halloween fun of Hoots n’ Howls to the Plaza Green. Guests and their furry friends can enjoy live music, various vendors and a chance to win this year’s Halloween Dog Costume Contest. A $5 entry fee is required to participate in the costume contest and all proceeds will benefit animal rescue organizations.

Game Day
Saturday, Oct. 8 from Noon-9 p.m.
Guests can kick off college football season at Live! at The Battery by celebrating with a day of tailgate snacks, specialty themed cocktails and watch parties, centering around the Auburn versus Georgia football game. Fans won’t miss a moment of action with 40+ televisions and a 32-foot LED screen playing the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry in college football! Patrons are encouraged to reserve tickets here.

Drag Brunch at Live!
Saturday, Oct. 22 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Let’s do brunch! Drag Brunch at The Battery Atlanta has never been fiercer, and this Halloween-themed event will showcase the most festive queens. This 21+ ticketed event offers packages that include seating, mimosas and specialty brunch options. Attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets here.

A Stranger Halloween
Friday, Oct. 28 from 8-11 p.m.
Things are getting turned upside down with A Stranger Halloween at The Battery Atlanta this October with giveaways, games and a costume contest with $6,000 in cash and prizes. Patrons will start off in the Tavern and are encouraged to reserve tickets here.

ALCP: Georgia Vs. Florida Watch Party at Live!
Saturday, Oct. 29 from Noon-9 p.m.
Time to break out the face paint and cheer along as one of the biggest rivalries in college football comes to The Battery Atlanta with Atlanta’s Largest Cocktail Party: a Georgia versus Florida tailgate and watch party. Fans can expect an array of tailgate snacks, themed cocktails, games and giveaways while their favorite teams battle on the 32-foot big screen. Tickets can be purchased here.
